What started as curiosity quickly developed into a hands-on pursuit, as Don immersed himself in the fundamentals of luthiery through patience, practice, and a deep focus on tone. Over the years, he refined his craft while also helping others build instruments of their own, valuing the personal connection between player and guitar. Witnessing that connection take shape remains one of the most rewarding aspects of his work. Today, Don continues building high-quality instruments designed for working musicians. His approach is guided by the belief that every guitar should serve the player, and that truly great instruments are the result of passion, dedication, and attention to detail rather than competition.
